According to him, two boys and a girl living in Eastern Europe were born healthy and had no problems yet, AFP announced.

Antinori has refused to give evidence of the cloning procedure, but he has announced some details of his experience. He said he had used the method is called "nuclear transfer" - the improved method with which we have cloned the sheep Dolly.

"By respecting the right of families to confidentiality, I can not say more," said Antinori.

The Italian Severino Antinori is widely known through his experiments on artificial fertilization in vitro in postmenopausal women. Notably in 1994 he helped a woman of 63 years to get pregnant. Two weeks ago the media have given an outrageous statement of Antionori saying it would help a woman become pregnant with sperm from her husband lying in a coma.
