Lizards do not live forever

Edit…  I forgot the photo of Sparky hanging outside.

Sparky

Our bearded dragon, Sparky, passed away sometime yesterday.  She has been behaving oddly, and wouldn’t eat.  Carrie had her for about 7 + years which is a good long life for a bearded dragon in captivity.  I will miss her in an odd way.  Being that she stayed in her tank all most all of the time, it’s not like she was cuddly.  But she would stare at me, and give me her I AM MAD face.  Plus she was fun to feed crickets, and Ryan enjoyed picking her dandelion flowers.  This should be a hard blow for Ryan, being so young, if he asks we can say she left.  The odd part was Carrie taking her from the tank and putting her in a plastic bag, luckily it was trash day.  I  check the City of Seattle gov site to find out what to do, and  she fit the under 15 lbs throw away specs.

Well, that leaves 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 snakes.  Oh and the boy.

Did Frank Sinatra sing a song about losing ones pet lizard?  Or was that Tom Jones.

Good night Sparky, enjoy eating crickets and doing what ever Lizards do in Lizard heaven.
