WIth out going into much detail about my job, I wanted to let you all know hows its going.
Very well, about about 4 weeks in. This is a fun and challenging job. I am learning loads of stuff, and the people are very interesting to be around.
I like the feeling I get from working at this place. I am helping make a garment that gives men the freedom to choose something else. Most men do not realize that they have that choice. I am glad to be a part of that movement.
Until we meet again, you don’t have to wear pants, if you don’t want to.
Heres the scoop on what’s been going with Ryan lately.
He was sleeping in a play pen we converted into a crib for sometime now. Well that was untill He decided to figur out how to pull him self out of it. Little booger. We were going to give him his own room at some point, but now we are going to build him his own “baby prison” if you will. Gee that sound bad on paper.
Basically we are going to build a short wall dividing our bedroom, giving him a space big enough for his RACE CAR BED. It will be dry walled, and cozy. With a space on the end for a baby gate. This way, when he lays down for a nap He will be safe and secure.
Also, Carrie has been bringing him into the bathroom a couple times a day to sit on his potty. Today He made a poop with me! A big one too. With luck, he will be quickly on his way oput of diapers!
Still not “talking” yet, but boy does that kid ramble on. He always has something to say, even though we can’t understand him.
We (mostly me, for I get excited easily) are getting exicted because in Christmas we will be spending it out in Minnesota with my Mom, and my Brother and his family, and the rest on my realtives! This will be Ryans first trip out there, and he will be meeting most of these people for the first time.
Well, that just about catches you all up!
While we were camping at the Tieton River, I was very lucky to watch something very cool, and get some photos of it. On the river, near our camp site, there are some good sized rocks, creating a “tight” channel to get through. Only one raft at a time.
While I was goofing around in my pirate outfit, some unlucky kayaker got their paddle wedged between some rocks in the thin channel. They moved on somehow down river leaving their paddle behind. Thats when He showed up.

His river partner and him eddied their kayaks behind the large rock. He hopped out of his kayak, and scurried up a log that was stuck against the rock. Risky, a little. Then getting his balance ready he…

We spent last weekend down at the Tieton River, near Rimrock Washington. We camped, rafted the river and partied with our river guide friends.
Ryan LOVES camping. Playing with the other kids, dogs and some very good dirt.
The river was running great, and the weather was all right. A bit windy on sunday, but still good. As they say, any day on the river is a good day.
I did get a few good photos, and will post they soon.
If the kayaker who climbed out on the rock to get the paddle reads this, I will have those pics up very very soon. Great work.
Also, I will be putting out the next This Kilted Life show this week. It will be a special show, so look for it soon!

NO, wait, stop. Read my post, and check out my page first before going on.
Why the big letters? It’s true, Wine library Tv is great. A simple wine tasting and wine review show, that turns you on your head and bangs your against the table 4 to 5 times with it’s mad genius! Gary, the host, walks you through several wine EVERY WEEK DAY, yes he does this daily. His style makes it feel like his is sitting in your livingroom actually talking to you, no really to you, not just the camera.
I love this show, I love wine! I can’t afford wine right now, but I love thinking about wine. As a server and a cook, wine was and is important to food, and Gary brings his knowledge and love of the grape to every show.
I can only hope, that Gary will read this, hear my own podcast at thiskiltedlife.com some time and give me some pointers. I want to try to bring his style of energy to the kilt world.
Thanks Gary, keep up the good work.
Ok, I am done telling you why I love his show so much, NOW GO AND CLICK THE LINK ABOVE!!!!!1!!!!!1!!!!!!
