I recieved via the good people of FedEx my brand spanking new MacBook and an iPod Touch! I wanted a laptop for school and this was a great great price for the power.
One great advantage of the iPod is I can write blog posts and upload them as long as I have WiFi access.
So in theory I will be posting more often.
Are you happy now? I know I am.
Oh and Rory, I should have pics soon.
Posted from the bus riding home.

Hi all. Kilted Eric here just saying hi! More later!
Why you ask? I start taking Community College officially! Yeah I am going to get learnded! I will be taking some low-ish level classes in Microsoft applications, and work towards web design, database development, and some programming courses. I am excited. I am also excited that I might be getting a new MacBook and a free iPod Touch. Wicked cool!
Well what about Ry RY with all of this going on? That little bugger is getting to be a big bugger. He is starting to go through potty training. Wee. He has had a poo poo twice in his potty chair and even a pee pee, which he called PooPoo water. Parents who read this will giggle, childless folks may think I am gross.
He is talking a lot now a days, putting together bigger sentences as well. We teach him many words, and he repeats them like a little parrot. Yes must be careful nowadays. He loves the Wiggles, and well as Signing Time DVD. He also loves reading and playing outside in the kiddy pool. He is a super busy boy.
Well. That about catches you all up to what’s been going on here. Talk to ya soon, hopefully on my MacBook. Keep your fingers crossed.
The Lady of the house has been busy being a nanny to two different families. She has fun, but it is work all the same. One of the boys is Ryan’s age and they play a lot I am told. The other lad is younger, but Ryan helps nanny him. Kind of like an assistant. She is also busy managing the house and helps keep my head on. I don’t think I could do all of the things I do with out her.
I am no longer full time at Utilikilts and I have moved from the Production Coordinator position to Phone sales / Inventory guy. Basically I answer phone calls, take phone sales, and sort and hang kilts. Fun yes, lower stress? You betcha!
The reason for this change is I now have one more part time job. I am a tour guide for a company called Savor Seattle Tours. I am part of a small team that leads groups of people through Pike Place Market in Seattle. It is also a food tour! That’s right, I tell jokes (read bad jokes) stories about the market, and give people generous samples of some of the great food in the Market! Wow is it fun!
I also still kinda work at Pizza Passion, the little pizza place that my friends run. I say kinda because I am down to about one weekend a month. And once September rolls around I will stop working there for a while.

Did I fail to mention that we have our Internet back? Oh yes we do. After a “more than” a week long process, which involved a couple of annoyed – angry calls to the “Spirit of Service” Quest folk, we finally got our service restored. Now if we can only get the couple of “why in the heck did you charge me for this” charges removed we will be happy once again with our service.
Life here on the “Ranch” has been moving and shaking. White water rafting season is basically over for us, one more trip in the middle of September to go and we can give our wetsuits a final cleaning and put them away for the winter. We had a great season of rafting, lots of odd and crazy adventures. I had my “personal best” when I nearly pinned my raft against a very dangerous bridge pillar, instead I got it stuck on some rocks and had to have the paddlers step out on to shore until the raft was light enough to break free. Trust me, exciting, scary and a lot of fun. The whole season could be summed up with a phrase that one of our fellow rafting guides told me, “Wisdom comes from experience, and experience comes from bad choices.”
We had a wonderful time camping in Pacific City, Or. Ryan is a camping man now. He loves the tent. He even took a couple of naps in it! My brother-in-Law gave me my first Cast Iron Dutch Oven. Yeah! I will have loads of fun cooking stuff in this thing.
